Simplicity

What does a miracle
Look like now a days

It might be cans of chili
With a dozen eggs
It might be some fresh coffee
Instead of warmed up dreggs

It might be somebody sayin yes
Instead of could be should be or maybe
It just might be some dog food
For my tail waggin babies

It might be some chicken and red meat
It might be rice and bread
It might be a bag of groceries
That takes the worries right off my head

It might be Saturday's sunshine
Shining down out of the blue
Miracles might be a lot of things
But nobody's tellin me

That one of them ain't you
